The science festival is a festival that showcases science and technology with the same freshness and flair that would be expected from an arts or music festival. Events can be varied, including lectures, exhibitions, workshops, live demonstrations of experiments, guided tours, and panel discussions. There may also be events linking science to the arts or history, such as plays, dramatised readings, and musical productions. The core content is that of science and technology, but the styles comes from the world of the arts.<\/p>\n

In France, this festival was created in 1992 by \u00ab\u00a0le minist\u00e8re de l’Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la\u00a0 Recherche\u00a0\u00bb. This festival was first named \u00ab\u00a0Sciences en F\u00eate\u00a0\u00bb until 1997 and \u00ab\u00a0Semaine de la science\u00a0\u00bb between 1998 and 1999.<\/p>\n

Our \u201cSemaine de la science\u201d took place on November, 30th<\/sup> 2016<\/p>\n

1st Workshop : EGG DROP<\/u><\/p>\n

This workshop was run by the 6e.<\/p>\n

The aim of this workshop was to drop an egg from 1m to 1.5m without it breaking when it hits the floor, by making something soft for it to land on.<\/p>\n

It was necessary to look in the microscope and to guess what we saw.<\/p>\n

Comments \u00a0on 3 workshops<\/u><\/p>\n

The aim of our activity was to make very big bubbles with soap, corn flower, glycerin and water, it worked very well.<\/p>\n

The primary school and Norwegian school enjoyed a lot but sometimes the weather was too cold and they wanted to return in.<\/p>\n

Retour d\u2019exp\u00e9riences des sixi\u00e8mes<\/u><\/p>\n

L\u2019atelier \u201cbateaux\u201d nous a permis de partager un moment autour de la notion de flotte\/coule avec des camarades plus petits. Chacun des animateurs avait un r\u00f4le bien d\u00e9fini. Il y avait les traductrices, les donneurs de consignes\u00a0 et d\u2019autres qui aidaient et accompagnaient.<\/p>\n

Les solutions techniques envisag\u00e9es par les \u00e9l\u00e8ves \u00e9taient de modeler une forme qui pouvait flotter et accueillir des billes. La difficult\u00e9 majeure rencontr\u00e9e \u00e9tait de ne pas trop mouiller la p\u00e2te \u00e0 modeler sinon le bateau \u00e9tait trop lourd et coulait.<\/p>\n

Quelques r\u00e9ussites sont \u00e0 noter. Le maximum de billes transport\u00e9es fut de 2.<\/p>\n

Nous avons aim\u00e9 animer cet atelier car cela s\u2019est r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 \u00eatre tr\u00e8s amusant de partager de tels moments avec des camarades. Un point reste \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer\u00a0:\u00a0 le fait de mixer encore plus les groupes afin que les Norv\u00e9giens et les Fran\u00e7ais \u00e9changent davantage.<\/p>\n

L\u2019atelier \u00ab\u00a0l\u00e2ch\u00e9 d\u2019\u0153ufs\u00a0\u00bb fut une r\u00e9ussite totale. Les \u00e9l\u00e8ves l\u2019ont beaucoup appr\u00e9ci\u00e9. Le fait qu\u2019on puisse casser des \u0153ufs \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s rigolo\u2026 Nous avons tous eu des responsabilit\u00e9s tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes (traducteur, guide, accompagnateur, testeur). Les solutions techniques qui ont le plus fonctionn\u00e9es, \u00e9taient celles o\u00f9 il fallait enfermer l\u2019\u0153uf dans une sorte de bo\u00eete. Cette solution est int\u00e9ressante car elle permet \u00e0 la fois d\u2019amortir et de prot\u00e9ger l\u2019\u0153uf.<\/p>\n

Tous les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont respect\u00e9 les contraintes et ont pos\u00e9 beaucoup de questions. Nous esp\u00e9rons qu\u2019une nouvelle journ\u00e9e sciences aura lieu prochainement.<\/p>\n
