Presentation of GIFS
Good morning. Today I will introduce you to my GIFS school.
So the GIFS school is an American school. Inside there are three floors, on the first there is the canteen which is very large. The tables are tables of 4. Further back a small room is where there are beds for if someone feels bad. On the left there is an office where ladies work. There is also my class where there are our offices to work in and finally there is Hortense’s class and the little ones’ class with Lilou inside.
On the second floor there is a Korean class, a laboratory for doing experiments, the French class where I, Hugo, Lilou and Hortense go there every day, a class where we have lessons or do research and finally there is the library.
On the third floor almost all the big ones work there but there is also the art class where I go every Monday and Friday. There are also technology rooms where the grown-ups sometimes go. Also outside there is two big soccer fields where everyone in the school goes for recess. In my class we have recess for 15 minutes in the morning from 10:20 am to 10:35 am everyday in the week except on thursday.
I also have some more recess in the afternoon for 45 minutes from 12:00 am to 12:45 am. There is also a little playground close to the gate of the school where there are two little slides, two swings and a monkey bar. And on the other side of the soccer field there are three other monkey bars that are different sizes. The first one is about 1 m high, the second one about 1.30 m high and the tallest one about 1.50 m high.
I am almost done with the presentation of the school but there is one last thing. There is a really big gym with a roof about 30 m high. And there is a high climbing wall of about 20 m high and if you want to go to the top you need to put on a harness that you can sometimes use. You can also install some nets to play a lot of different sports. You can play badminton, volleyball, tennis and some other sports.
There is also a room with all the equipment so if you want to use something you can: there are some basketballs, soccer balls, tennis balls and some bats, and little square scooters to roll on it. Those are the things that are in the gym so the presentation is done. And one last thing, school starts at 8:30 am and finishes at 3:30 pm.
